Trial Attorney- SIU- NEW YORK (Remote Home- Based Role)

This position prepares for and conducts hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.Key Responsibilities Conduct SIU EUOs and prepare reportsContact clients to discuss their case and answer any questionsReview new file assignments, all documentary evidence and approve initial pleadings, propound discovery, and develop strategyInvestigate and pursue subrogation litigation, as appropriateConduct settlements / dispositive proceedings (e.g., mediations, arbitrations, etc.)Prepare and conduct court appearances (matter management conferences, hearings, status conferences, etc.)Conduct depositions and examinations under oath and prepare summary documentsPrepare witnesses and clients for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials including expert witnessesTry and / or arbitrate cases and prepare motions and summary documents in limineKeep claim business partners updated on status (initial client contact, initial litigation plan, recurring contacts, strategy conferences, and pre-trial, etc.)Education 4 year Bachelor's Degree (Required)Juris Doctor (Required)Experience 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.Education & Experience (in lieu) In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Skills Client Documentation, Evidence Gathering, Legal Document Preparation, Litigation, TortsCompensation Compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.Joining our team isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity.
