Chemist - I

AllSTEM Connections is seeking a Chemist I to work onsite in Wilson, NC.

This is a 12-month contract position. Possible extension/temp-to-hire.

Hourly rate is up to $26.60/hour.

M-F, 8AM - 5PM.

SUMMARY:

Primary responsibilities are routine laboratory "KF, UV, FTIR" dissolution, assay/degradation, content uniformity, and identity testing and documentation in a GMP laboratory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• "KF, UV, FTIR" dissolution
• Assay/degradation, content uniformity
• Entering data into Labware
• Participating in investigation meetings
• Some drafting of investigations
• Participating in root cause analysis
• Simple troubleshooting instrumentation issues
• Participation in the daily tier process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. degree (Sciences or Engineering).
• Academic or industry experience. 2-3yrs experience in industry preferred.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles.
• Experience operating routine laboratory equipment including but not limited to: Karl Fisher, pH meter, conductivity meter, UV, etc.
• Knowledge of regulatory and cGMP principles.

Preferred:

• Experience operating laboratory equipment: HPLC, dissolution apparatus, FTIR, NIR, etc.
• Experience utilizing Empower.
• Experience utilizing Labware/LIMS. 4)
• Execution of root cause analysis.
• Background in technical writing including but not limited to: updating of standard operating procedures and writing quality notifications.
• Knowledge of Tier processes.
• Experience executing 5S principals.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: Up to $26.60 per hour
