Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in data mesh architecture and Databricks to join our team. This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and high-quality data models and products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders, to deliver robust data solutions that drive informed decision-making and enterprise data value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, efficient data models aligned with data mesh principles, including domain-driven design, data as a product, and federated data governance.
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business users to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines using Databricks.
- Implement and manage the full lifecycle of data products, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of data by implementing robust data validation rules and quality checks.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with data modeling in a data mesh architecture environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with data product lifecycle management.
- Exposure to modern cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
