What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electromechanical Assembler position at AllSTEM Connections?
We are looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical technician to assemble, test, and maintain electro-mechanical equipment for aircraft. If you have hands-on mechanical experience, can follow engineering drawings, and work with hand tools, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, and test electro-mechanical equipment, including alternators, generators, and ground support equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments for assembly.
- Follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Lift up to 15 pounds as required.
Requirements:
- Experience is more important than a degree. Hands-on mechanical experience is a must.
- Skilled in using wrenches, screwdrivers, and power tools.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or working with mechanical systems preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and schematics.
- A&P certification is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a basic hands-on assessment involving part identification and assembly.
