HYPERVISOR ENGINEER

Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience:
- 10 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on infrastructure, networking, and automation.
- Strong background in hypervisor management (KVM, Xen, OpenShift) and software-defined networking (SDN), particularly with NSX.
- Hands-on experience with Java and/or C for software development, with the flexibility to work with other languages like Python as needed.
- Familiarity with Linux or Xen-based environments and experience with open-source software.
- Automation & Networking Expertise:
- Proficiency in building and implementing automation solutions, integrating them with network and infrastructure systems via API.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, particularly around hypervisors and SDN technologies.
- Development Methodologies:
- Expertise in the software development lifecycle, with experience in practices like Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience working within Agile frameworks, with the ability to coach teams and foster collaboration.
- Knowledge of cloud development, resiliency, and security best practices.
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and collaborate effectively with networking engineers and automation specialists.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical challenges and solutions to stakeholders at various levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with VMware is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Background in OpenStack and other cloud technologies is beneficial.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
Salary : $65 - $75
