Job Opportunity: Project Engineer (Contract)

Location: Peachtree, GA

Contract Duration: 3-6 months with possible extensions

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Are you a detail-oriented engineer with hands-on experience in construction or project execution? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment, and have a knack for commissioning equipment? If yes, our client is looking for someone like you to join their team on an active construction site where understanding construction safety is a major plus!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead equipment commissioning and ensure flawless integration within the construction site.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and goals.
• Analyze and interpret engineering drawings for project execution.
• Oversee the design, specification, and installation of systems such as pumps, fans, compressors, burners, and related piping/ductwork.
• Contribute to the design and optimization of material handling, packaging equipment, and pollution control systems.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field (Technical degrees will be considered with contractor experience).

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with piping system design in continuous process manufacturing.
• Operational site and project execution experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• AutoCAD and MS Project expertise.
• Solid mechanical engineering background with a basic understanding of electrical items.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
