QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced UI/UX Development in ServiceNow
- Experience creating guided UI experiences and building intuitive, workflow-driven Service Portals and SAM-W (Software Asset Management - Workspace) interfaces.
- Experience working with design playbooks and implementing UI/UX guidelines from external providers - highly preferred
- Strong Frontend Development (JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS)
- Ability to build widgets from scratch, not just modify existing ones.
- Proficiency in AngularJS (ServiceNow’s frontend framework) for portal development.
- Experience with REST APIs and integrations in ServiceNow
- Ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot, and build solutions without extensive guidance.
- Effective Communication & Collaboration
- Ability to communicate across multi-continent teams and work with stakeholders in different time zones.
Nice to Have:
- ITAM & SAM Knowledge – Understanding of asset lifecycle, compliance, and regulatory needs - top of pile with the must haves
- Hands-on experience with SAM-W and how it integrates with ITAM processes.
- Understanding of ServiceNow’s SAM data model, license tracking, and entitlement workflows.
- Ariba Integration Experience – Since the team is handling contract management, familiarity with ServiceNow-Ariba integrations is a plus.
- Experience with ServiceNow Guided UI Framework – If the team is using this for structured workflows.
- Modern Frontend Frameworks – Experience with React/Vue could be useful if the UI strategy evolves, neither a preference nor a requirement, just a plus
