Job Title: BSA SME (Techno-Functional) Investment Performance

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) SME with strong techno-functional expertise in Investment Performance to support performance measurement platforms and ensure alignment with business objectives, industry standards (GIPS), and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of performance attribution tools like BiSAM, FactSet, and Eagle Performance, as well as hands-on experience in SQL, benchmark management, and mutual fund performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in Investment Performance Measurement, supporting platforms like BiSAM, FactSet, and Eagle Performance.
- Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to define business requirements and ensure successful delivery of performance solutions.
- Interpret and apply GIPS standards to support compliant performance measurement and reporting practices.
- Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and data teams to validate mutual fund returns, benchmark accuracy, and performance attribution.
- Design and document detailed functional and technical specifications for enhancements, integrations, and data flow improvements.
- Conduct SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting of performance-related data issues.
- Support benchmark setup and validation, including custom benchmark creation and index data sourcing.
- Participate in UAT and system validation, ensuring new features or system changes meet business expectations.
- Provide ongoing support, training, and documentation for performance systems users.
- Assist in performance data governance and ensure data integrity across upstream/downstream systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience as a BSA or Techno-Functional Analyst in the Investment Management or Asset Management industry.
- Proven expertise in performance measurement and attribution platforms such as BiSAM, FactSet, and Eagle Performance.
- Strong working knowledge of GIPS standards, mutual fund return calculations, and benchmark methodologies.
- Solid understanding of investment performance metrics, including TWR, MWR, attribution, and composite management.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience engaging with both IT and business/operations stakeholders, bridging gaps between technical solutions and business needs.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation or data integration tools in performance measurement.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Certification in CIPM (Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) is a plus.
Salary : $70 - $80
