What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance - M3 Senior Consultant position at ALLTECH CONSULTING SVC INC?
Job Description : Responsibilities : Understand customer specific financial and costing requirements, document the requirements and obtain customer approval of correct expectations.Map customer requirements to M3 standard processes and provide in-depth Fit / Gap analysis.Focus on process improvement and minimize need for customizations.Provide Company’s M3 functional specifications based on business requirements or provide the combined functional and technical specifications for customizations.Provide additional M3 configurations and / or refine the existing application configurations.Work with the project manager, solution architect and other functional consultants for finding the best possible solutions to complete the business requirements classified as gaps.Build prototype solutions for user validation.Perform unit test prior to the solution delivery.Assist users in testing activities and provide resolutions to issues and defects.Provide user education and knowledge transfer supported by Company or self-created documentation.Execute project activities in accordance with the project plan.Provide timely status reporting to the project manager and to the client partner.Requirements : Must be familiar with Company’s M3 multi-tenant environment. Should be experienced with impact of time zone in a cloud-based ERP.Must have sound knowledge of M3 general navigation, use and build of home pages.Must have over six years of experience with M3 finance covering GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets and Cost Accounting.Must be very familiar with financial master data.Excellent experience with designing accounting rules with exceptions and priorities based on in scope events and M3 standard and customization capability.Experience in Food and Beverage industry is a plus.Must be familiar with financial database tables and M3 AdHoc reports.Excellent organization / time management skills.Ability to support / work in a multi-user / multi-client environment.Knowledge of tools, techniques, and good practices for protecting the integrity of corporate data and processing.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work remotely and commute to client offices when required; willing to travel up to 50% of consulting time.Additional Skills : M3A / M3 Applications Products / Functional / Finance#J-18808-Ljbffr
