What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mainframe IMS DB Consultant position at ALLTECH CONSULTING SVC INC?
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- IMS and CICS is the main skill.
- Experience Level – 8 years with hands-on experience.
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI / CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- Hands-on experience in IBM-Z / OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB / DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Change man / Endeavor Mainframe application development suites, and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution.
- Experience in creating APIs using zO / S connect & Kafka integration is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge and work experience on AWS is a plus.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Knowledge of the banking domain & credit card is a plus.
