The Role
As our IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll work directly with the business owner to support our clients' technology needs through a mix of remote and on-site work. You'll be instrumental in finding solutions, not just band-aids, and will become a friendly coworker to our clients. This position offers substantial development opportunities in a small team environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on our path to reaching our goals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide responsive helpdesk support (levels 1-3) both remotely and on-site for clients
Deploy, configure, and install network infrastructure (APs, cameras, PCs, etc.)
Manage client systems using our RMM platform (NinjaRMM) for patch management and general scripting
Assist with network architecture design and implementation for client projects
Perform hardware repairs, bench testing, and troubleshooting
Create and maintain thorough documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
Support general cybersecurity measures and assist with incident response
Perform general low voltage cabling, troubleshooting, and repairs
Assist with compliance maintenance and auditing
Track IT assets using established asset management systems
Build relationships with clients through professional communication and exceptional service
Qualifications & Requirements
2 years of IT support & networking experience
CompTIA A , Network certification, or equivalent (Required)
Must reside in Pueblo County, Colorado
Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, server, and network environments
Experience with Windows desktop/server administration
General networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with team members
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently when handling multiple clients
Technical Skills
Experience with RMM tools (NinjaRMM or similar)
Experience with PSA platform (HaloPSA or similar)
Microsoft 365 administration and support
General network configuration (routers, switches, access points)
Mobile device support (iOS/Android)
Video conferencing setup and support
General cybersecurity practices
Experience with documentation systems and KB creation
General scripting skills (PowerShell, Batch)
