We are looking to expand our installation services in the Lexington and other South Carolina areas and need a few Installers/Service Techs. AllTech Wiring & Controls, Inc. has been a leading security installation and service company in North and South Carolina for over 25 years and we are accepting Resumes/Applications for experienced/entry level Cabling Technicians and Installers in the Lexington/Columbia area.
An installation technician is responsible for installing Alarm/Intrusion Detection Systems, Access Control Systems, Fire Alarm, Video Surveillance Equipment, and related security devices, sensors, electric locks, and other applicable equipment.
We are willing to train the right individuals. Pay based on Experience. We will teach you the foundation and the principles that you will need to become a professional in our industry and not just an hourly employee.
Current residential security installers if you want to enter commercial and industrial market this could be a great opportunity. Previous Electricians, Satellite Installers, Cable TV, HVAC Controls installers, and Maintenance Technicians are also a good match.
Job Summary: Responsible for the installation of Alarm/ Intrusion Detection System, Fiber Optics, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and CCTV/Camera equipment on commercial and industrial sites. Normal working hours are Monday -Friday 7:30-4:30.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pull cable for various security systems. Install/mount and wire Intrusion Detection, Fiber Optics, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and CCTV equipment. Working from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts. Competent with hand and power tools and lift up to 75 lbs. Interact with customers and represent the company in a professional manner. Learn to follow documented wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures. Knowledge of AC/DC Circuits, Normally Open & Normally Closed Circuits is helpful.
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Complete Background check before and during employment.
Willing to travel occasionally (NC/SC).
High School diploma or GED.
Clean Background (no Felony Convictions)
Valid Driver’s License and Good Driving Record
Computer literacy.
