What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Driver position at Alltown Bus Service?
*New increased starting rate of $25.00/hour*
*Sign-on Bonus for new hires paid quarterly once in revenue service:
-$3,000 for candidates that have their CDL with P&S endorsements.
-$1,500 for candidates with a basic drivers license.
Provide safe and dependable transportation for school children on a daily basis. We provide CDL and permit training if needed. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Transporting children and other passengers to and from school
• Obey all traffic laws
• Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times
• Ensure the safety of all students
• Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route
• Attend safety meetings as required
• Have a clean driving record
• Must be 21 years or older

Responsibility Profile:
Transport clients to and from destinations.
Arrive at destinations on schedule.
Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
Always interact with clients professionally.
Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
Perform other duties as assigned.
