Allura USA is a leading manufacturer of high-quality fiber cement products. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at the Roaring River Fiber Cement facility.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing electrical/project engineering support and services to the Roaring River Fiber Cement facility. The primary objective is to manage the implementation of uniform systems that harness best practices and technologies to optimize operations performance in production efficiencies, quality output, and cost reductions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, specify, budget, plan, schedule, procure, install, and commission capital projects.
- Develop and implement new processes to improve safety, quality, reduce costs, and enhance product performance.
- Collaborate with project teams and plant personnel to define functional and safety requirements for project scopes and ensure projects meet the needs of the plant.
- Provide engineering support and technical guidance to end users and plant personnel.
- Evaluate suppliers and contractors to allow for the procurement of equipment, facilities, and labor to complete projects on time, on budget, and to acceptable quality standards.
The successful candidate will be highly computer literate and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD. A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution is required, along with minimum 5-7 years of applied professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
