Our teams are located across India, Bangladesh and the U.K. This is a Hybrid position working in the New York Metropolitan area. Role Description

• Freelance Hourly Rate / Sales Commission
• Experience with Missy, Plus and Junior woven and knit Sportswear
• Knowledge of working with India a plus
• This role demands a creative vision and strong grasp for industry trends.
• Collaborate with overseas design / pd teams for trend shopping, market intelligence
• Design Specialist is where you will break free from the norm, where will be paid your hourly freelance fee for any of your time spent plus an added sales commission on orders received from your customer.
• Design focus will be on Apparel importers and Mid-tier Department Stores and Off Price retailers.

Qualifications

• Strong design background in ladies and/or Mens apparel
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customers
• Excellent organizational, time management, communication and presentation skills
• Self motivated and creative thinker
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and illustrator
• 7-10 years experience
