Dietary Aide

Allure of Sterling is looking for Dietary Aides. Hours available are Part Time.

Allure of Sterling (formerly Regency of Sterling) is seeking a unique individual that would like to show case their culinary abilities as a cook or dietary aide, making recipes from scratch and would enjoy creating and perfecting delicious menus for our residents and staff. Prepares and serves meals according to four-week cycle menus. Monitors methods of food handling, preparation, meal service and equipment cleaning. Reports directly to Food Service Supervisor. Cook may also be responsible for supervising dietary aides.

Full Time, Part Time, Or Just Weekends Available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate food preparation and meal service.
• Determine amount & type of food and supplies as required for daily menus.
• Monitor food temperatures (hot and cold) prior to meal service.
• Clean equipment and work areas after food preparation.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of Food Service Supervisor.
• Accountable for the quality of the meals prepared for each meal.
• Demonstrates the ability to set and establish priorities.8. Manages time efficiently.
