Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team at Allure Lounge in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our servers and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food service, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding guest services.
Duties
- Assist servers with the timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Bus tables efficiently, ensuring that all used dishes and utensils are cleared promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Support kitchen staff by helping with food preparation and ensuring that all items are stocked and ready for service.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and tracking as needed.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent service, answer questions, and assist with menu recommendations or upselling when appropriate.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts, especially in a nightclub or high-energy setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in roles related to culinary or guest services.
- Familiarity with bussing techniques and restaurant operations is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
