What are the responsibilities and job description for the Van Driver position at Allwell Behavioral Health Services?
Provides daily scheduled van transportation to and from Muskingum center in a timely and safe manner.
- Drives in compliance with all traffic regulations as verified in Ohio Drivers Motor Vehicle Reports.
- Functions appropriately with clients while transporting, notifying clinical staff of unusual behaviors at end of van run.
- Monitor vehicle conditions and report any repair or maintenance needs to the Maintenance Director.
- Maintains vehicle first aid kit per kit contents list-replenishing as needed.
- Exhibits professional behavior with all clients and co-workers, at all times.
- Works with location team to establish route and efficiencies.
- Abides by any local/county transportation entities, if applicable.
- May assist with front desk duties or with building general maintenance and cleaning when not driving.
- Removes ice & snow from sidewalks/parking lot as needed.
Responds to other duties assigned by center leadership.
May have access to and use of, as well as may create, Protected Health Information (PHI) of clients through verbal, written and electronic communications, as recorded and contained in ABHS’s clinical records and electronic healthcare record system. Will use and protect such identified client PHI by maintaining and respecting client privacy and confidentiality in conformance to federal HIPAA and state patient privacy laws and regulations and ABHS client confidentiality policies. Employee will only access and use the minimum necessary PHI required to perform their job duties.
