What are the responsibilities and job description for the LSS Controls Technician position at ALLY Energy?
This position is a multi-skill position with emphasis on Life Safety Systems controls skill area. This motivated team player will possess a basic knowledge of automated monitoring & control systems, AC/DC electrical wiring systems and basic electrical theory, preferably within the high tech/ semiconductor industry. This position provides vast opportunity for advancement both technically and in position.

- Assist plant personnel with testing and commissioning of LSS hardware and equipment
- Insuring that LSS hardware and equipment is installed per customer’s specifications
- Document, compile and report any installations that do not meet customer’s requirements
- Attend all customer mandated meetings, trainings, etc…
- Work well within a multi-discipline field team
- Thorough understanding of electrical schematics and electronic controls.
- Strict attention to detail and ability to take direction.
- Good knowledge of AC & DC electronic circuitry.
- Electrical understanding of relay logic and analog signal loop theory
- PLC / SCADA software experience is a plus.
- Self motivated individual – able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team oriented, flexible and willing to assist in other technical disciplines.
- Ability to use basic hand tools, digital multimeter and standard electronic test equipment.
