As Technical Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for the post-sales support and service coordination to resolve customer issues. This can include technical repairs (both returns and field), support, coordinating field services, or other service requests.
As Technical Support Engineer, You'll Also Be Responsible For
- Ensure compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MTech) process
- Subject Matter Expert for their area of support
- Support the field technically through different media (online, phone calls and technical papers)
- 24/7 Support for Critical Operations in the field when needed
- Share the knowledge across the organization by submitting best practices, case histories & lessons learned to the knowledge management database
- Follow up on field failures that requires Technology involvement and ensure that the learning is shared across the field
- Raise an alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar technical issue arises on a job
- Coach other technical resources in their area of expertise
- Communicate to Engineering and Technology organization on issues and lessons learned related to different technologies
- PL specific responsibilities
- Handles special projects as required
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
- A bachelor's degree (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical Support and/or Service Coordination, prior Field Services experience preferr
- Previous Wireline field operations experience in offshore and/or land/onshore.
