About Us:
At Ally Public Adjusting, we are dedicated to helping policyholders navigate the insurance claims process by ensuring they receive fair settlements for their property losses. We are seeking a Field Documentation Specialist to join our team. This critical role involves conducting on-site inspections, documenting property damage, and supporting the creation of detailed reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site property inspections to document damage.
  • Take detailed and high-quality photos of damage, including overview and close-up shots, to ensure comprehensive visual documentation.
  • Carry and safely use ladders to access roofs or elevated areas for damage inspection and photo documentation.
  • Identify and assess property damage, including structural, roofing, and interior damage.
  • Measure property features (e.g., rooms, roofs, and siding) to assist in preparing damage reports and repair estimates.
  • Record clear and concise notes during inspections, ensuring all details are captured.
  • Collaborate with public adjusters to create thorough and accurate damage reports.
  • Use tools and software for photo organization, measurement, and report generation (e.g., CompanyCam, Xactimate, or similar).
  • Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and other parties involved in the claim process.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document damage comprehensively.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and navigating different types of properties.
  • Ability to carry and use ladders safely (roof access experience is preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of property damage types and repair processes (training provided).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently.
  • Experience with measurement tools, field documentation, and damage assessment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using mobile apps and software for documentation and reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights.
  • Capable of extended periods of walking, standing, and kneeling during inspections.
