Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. The Opportunity
As a Physical Security Specialist, you will be responsible for enforcing Ally’s safety and security protocols across assigned facilities. Acting as the primary point of contact for all physical security matters, you will utilize your expertise in threat identification, critical thinking, and incident response to address concerns effectively. You will offer guidance, direction, and training to onsite security personnel and Ally employees, ensuring compliance with security standards. Additionally, you will leverage your in-depth understanding of policies and procedures to proactively identify potential risks and implement effective solutions to protect the organization.

Base Pay Range: $55000 - $80000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.

The Work Itself
- Provide leadership, training, and technical guidance to onsite security, corporate workplace, and site leaders.
- Assist the Threat and Preparedness team with onsite tasks. Provide second and third level support, and analysis data during and after an incident.
- Coordinate with all lines of business to maintain the safety and security of Ally’s employees, visitor’s contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure high profile visitors are processed quickly, communicated to executive protection, and delivered to their destination.
- Propose solutions to assist in reducing and avoiding service interruptions.
- Collaborate with representatives from public and private organizations to share security related information or coordinate security response.
- Serve as primary contact for first responders and assist first responder entry and exit during life safety events or emergency incidents.
- Analyze signals coming from various tools such as access control, threat and monitoring, video, and real time tracking of incidents that could impact the organization. Conduct presentations of analytic findings.
- Conduct audits at facilities to ensure they are consistent with Ally Enterprise Policy.
- Ability to assess information quickly and accurately for credibility, relevance, and importance.
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- This position is in-office 5 days per week.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Political Science, Security Studies, Emergency Management, Journalism, Communications, or relevant field of study.
- 1 year of experience in physical security or related job function with strong working knowledge of security practices and incident management techniques to address the varying issues that guard forces address on a daily basis.
- Ability to establish priorities, multi-task, work independently, and complete objectives in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and creative thinking skills. Demonstrated capability to learn and develop new techniques to help the team. Must work well within a team environment and be able to provide feedback to others.
- Ability to interact with personnel at all levels across the organization and to comprehend business priorities.
- Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Advanced knowledge of security and emergency protocols, and of access control, video management systems, and visitor management systems.
- Ability to work off-hours, night, weekends, and holidays, and to travel as-needed.
