The Opportunity
The Ally Deposits Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial and analytical support of the Ally Deposits business. The candidate will work closely with senior members of the business to understand the changing dynamics within the business and industry, while providing analytical and financial business support and reporting.
Primary responsibilities include financial reporting, planning and forecasting, including preparation of materials for senior management. In addition, this role will support cross-functional business routines centered on business performance and initiative updates.
Success in this role requires an understanding of business operations and objectives, strategic thinking, collaboration, and agility. The Analyst must possess a mindset geared towards continuous improvement and be capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Base Pay Range: $70000 - $100000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. The Work Itself
- Drive monthly reporting routines which clearly articulate key drivers, emerging trends, and analysis allowing the business to assess progress towards goals
- Prepare Ally Deposits business deliverables and meeting materials for executive updates and reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Support the Ally Deposits leadership team in day-to-day financial analysis, and execution of strategic initiatives
- Maintain robust reporting and documentation supporting the publication of financial results and forecasting routines including, but not limited to, key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support and build relationships with key partners spanning Strategy, Marketing, Analytics, Technology, and HR
- Utilize global SAP and OneStream environment to provide consistent data, reporting and accruals
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required (Finance or Accounting major preferred)
- 3 years' experience in financial services with strong business acumen
- Advanced skills with Excel & PowerPoint are required
- Experience reporting on financial / P&L performance and operating metrics geared to executive leadership desired
- Must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and be comfortable working with dynamic and complex concepts
- Ability to analyze data, evaluate scenarios, and synthesize output to present a clear, concise message
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively plan and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to interact with senior management
- Ability to foster collaborative, trusted partnerships in a highly matrixed environment
