What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shrub Crew Drivers position at ALM Commercial Landscaping?
ALM Commercial Landscaping is searching for Landscape/Shrub Crew Drivers to perform a variety of lawn care maintenance services for our commercial and residential client aimed at maintaining and enhancing the health and appearance of shrubs. Our Drivers must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. These positions are fulltime and benefit eligible positions and we pay weekly. We are looking for candidates who want a long-term career and we are ready to invest in their growth!
Responsibilities:

- Mowing lawns using push and riding mowers
- Remove dead, diseased, or damaged branches to promote vigorous growth.
- Prune to eliminate misshapen or crowded branches, ensuring a well-formed structure.
- Remove old flowers and fruit clusters to stimulate the growth of new flower buds for the next season.
- Shape and size shrubs through strategic pruning, such as creating hedges or espaliers.
- Trimming and edging using gas powered trimmers
- Hand pulling weeds
- Picking up trash and yard debris
- Operating backpack blower to blow leaves and/or grass clippings
- Driving company vehicle to and from work sites with crew members
- Other responsibilities as directed
Qualifications:
- 1 year of shrub care/lawn care experience is preferred; open to training!
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in landscaping.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and walk 10 miles a day
