We are seeking a skilled Commercial Food Equipment and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Equipment Maintenance Technician will work both independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality service to our clients.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, including HVAC systems, appliances, and refrigeration units.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assemble and install new equipment as required, ensuring proper functionality.
- Operate company work vehicles for the delivery of equipment and parts to job sites.
- Provide field service support, troubleshooting issues on-site and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with other technicians to improve processes and share best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in equipment repair and maintenance; HVAC experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles such as work vans safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- A valid driver's license is required.
