POSITION SUMMARY:
The Alma College Department of Business Administration invites applications for an Instructor/Lecturer of Sports Management/Business Administration. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track position beginning Fall 2025. The standard teaching load for this position is six units throughout the academic year and may include teaching in different modalities.
The department’s desire is for an experienced faculty colleague with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Teaching experience and/or professional experience in sports management courses, general business courses and business analytics is required. Successful applicants are those who can teach sports management and other business courses, including data analytics. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI, Tableau, and Canvas or other LMS is preferred.
A Ph.D. or Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) or related fields is preferred. An all-but dissertation (ABD) or a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with professional college- level teaching experience will be considered for the position.
