Retail Sales Associate and Embroidery Assistant

Alma Mater is looking for an organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join the team as a Retail Sales Associate and Production Assistant. This role would require a wide variety of duties and responsibilities including packaging and shipping online orders, as well as assisting the Embroidery Department Manager with production needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Service Customers with integrity.
• Meet daily retail shipping requirements.
• Help embroidery manager with daily embroidery production needs.
• Maintain high level print quality and embroidery quality.
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Effectively communicate needs to management.
• Be aware of deadline/due dates and how you can contribute to help meet all deadlines
• Be aware of any damage to garments, prints or embroidery.
• Relay any issues immediately with production manager (20 min rule)

• The Ideal candidate must have the ability to: work independently and in group settings, depending on the situation; utilize materials appropriately; meet deadlines in a sometimes hectic environment; be flexible with workflow changes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintaining an organized work environment. Assisting in production of embroidery orders if workflow is minimal in retail shipping role. General cleaning and organization of production facility.
