POSITION: Child Care Provider
LOCATION: Luce Road Early Childhood Learning Center
REPORTS TO: Tia Hahn, Child Care Program Director
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Meet requirements for background check and fingerprinting. Requires a High School diploma and must meet state licensing requirements. Possess an associate’s degree in a child related field (preferred).
Job Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills:
A successful candidate will possess:
- Create a positive and mutually supportive partnership with students, parents, and staff, in order to maximize every child’s academic and personal growth
- Behavioral analysis and cognitive recognition abilities for anticipating and addressing potential interactions and concerns
- Solid record of punctuality
- Provide a safe learning setting designed to engage students in academic, recreation and enrichment activities
- Proven track record of providing excellent child care
- Maintain a professional image and continually protect the values of the district
- Kind, patient, and compassionate individuals who love working and interacting with children
- Outstanding communication and time management skills
- Responsible for timesheets and documentation of children’s behaviors
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday - From 6 am to 2:00 pm
COMPENSATION: $14.50 an hour
BEGINNING DATE: ASAP (year-round position)
