Alma Tire Companies is continuing to expand both our customer base and teams within our topflight ATS Fleet Service (Commercial/Heavy Duty) division, leading us to look for individuals that want to come to work and make a positive impact on their team and the clients they serve. HEAVY DUTY DIESEL TECHNICIAN is an important role within our organization, and you will have the opportunity to work hard and get the job done at a high-quality standard. We do everything from diesel engine diagnostics and repair to trailer work, DEF/EGR system diagnostics, and servicing. The responsibilities of this role will be performed out of the company-provided service vehicle, as well as in-shop. Additional responsibilities, including service calls for our valued customers, will be offered following the candidate’s initial onboarding period. Our company's mission is to be the premier truck and heavy equipment facility in the state of Michigan, and to continue in that mission, we need to have the best people on our team!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
-Integrity, reliability, and a positive attitude

-A clean driving record
-A preferred work history of three years working as a Diesel Mechanic
-Preferred State of Michigan Heavy Duty Certifications
-CDL A preferred
-The physical ability to lift 50-100 pounds routinely
-A willingness to work overtime when necessary
-Being absolutely unwilling to compromise personal integrity and business ethics for any reason
