What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Product Introduction Team Leader (Packaging Operations) position at Almac Group?
Almac Group is currently seeking a NPI (New Product Introduction) Team Lead for our Audubon, PA location. The NPI Team Lead will provide leadership for all activities associated with introduction of new products to Almac Pharma Services in Audubon. The NPI project group coordinates all aspects of customer projects through product introduction, before transferring to client management team for routine supply. The NPI project team leader oversees a team of project staff who are responsible for a portfolio of projects.
The role will work closely with all Almac Pharma Services packaging sites and will work closely with the packaging operational teams, quality, business development, and the client management team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the NPI Project function to provide the best client experience, ensure activities are delivered to the highest possible standard in alignment with the global network. Ensure comprehensive project plans are developed and communicated with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage revenue budgets and client billings, including budget reporting and adherence for themselves and their direct reports.
- Ensure activity scope changes, additions or new works are appropriately appraised and quoted for accordingly.
- Standardize Project Management systems and processes in coordination with the global NPI team. Identify, develop and share best practice project processes, tools and templates to achieve optimal effectiveness and efficiency with activities delivered to the highest possible standards.
- Provide sound leadership to staff by exemplifying the Almac Mission, Vision and Values and leading with integrity. Recruit, train and develop your team to achieve highly effective levels of client management and project delivery.
Required Experience / Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Science or Business related discipline
- 3 year’s experience within a Business/Client or Account Management role within the Pharmaceutical industry
- 1 year of management experience
- Experience of sales order processing within an ERP system (1 year)
- Supply chain management (1 year)
