What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blockchain Security Researcher position at Almanax?
Almanax is seeking someone to join our team either remotely or in person in NYC to help us build our dataset of secure and vulnerable blockchain code. The ideal candidate will have a background in application security and experience either reading or writing blockchain smart contracts.
As a security researcher, you will you will work directly with the CEO and CTO to play a crucial role in developing AI solutions for our clients. You can expect to be on the “ground floor” of Almanax's product and have a high degree of ownership, working with major blockchain protocols and companies.
Responsibilities
- Curate examples of safe and vulnerable smart contract code
- Label datasets with vulnerability severity, type, and descriptions
- Evaluate security findings for correctness and accuracy
- Work on a day-to-day basis with Almanax founders
