Overview
A driver for non-medical transportation is typically responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services for individuals who do not require medical assistance. This role often involves transporting passengers to various destinations, such as appointments, social events, or daily activities. The driver must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for passengers. Key responsibilities may include: 1. **Safety:** Ensuring the safety of passengers by adhering to traffic laws, maintaining the vehicle in good condition, and using seat belts. 2. **Navigation:** Effectively navigating routes using GPS or maps to provide timely transportation. 3. **Customer Service:** Offering friendly and respectful service, assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, and addressing any concerns or needs they may have. 4. **Scheduling:** Coordinating pick-up and drop-off times, often working with a scheduling system or app to manage appointments. 5. **Vehicle Maintenance:** Keeping the vehicle clean and reporting any maintenance issues to ensure reliability. Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
