Duties
- Conduct thorough investigations of suspicious transactions and activities to determine potential money laundering risks.
- Analyze financial data using financial software to identify patterns indicative of fraudulent behavior.
- Collaborate with internal audits to assess compliance with AML policies and procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations for management review.
- Stay updated on Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws affecting the organization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of AML training programs for staff.
- Support compliance management efforts by maintaining accurate records of investigations and outcomes.
- Provide insights into financial concepts that may impact the organization’s risk profile.
Experience
- Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and fraud prevention detection methodologies.
- Familiarity with compliance management frameworks and internal audits is essential.
- Demonstrated financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex financial information effectively.
- Experience working with financial software tools that facilitate data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, including those pertaining to money laundering and fraud detection.
