About the role : The role is Business business intelligence / data analyst combination. Looking for candidates with at least 5 years of BI experience and 5 years as a DA (write SQL code, moderate level).
Must have strong communication skills, both written & verbal. Should also have strong business analysis skills to be able to translate business asks to SQL / BI solutions.
Nice to have :
Financial background experience is a plus, but not required.
Interview Process / Questions :
Two rounds 30 min. phone screening, one round, panel interview (in person).
Location : Preferred : San Francisco, CA. Open to Charlotte, NC. Mandatory in-office 3 days a week.
A little about the team this is for :
The Wholesale Customer Experience Analytics (WCEA) Reporting and Business Intelligence team provides BI, reporting, and analytic support to our business and technical partners to help them make data-driven decisions for customer service, onboarding, and enhancing the products offered to the customers. We are a part of the WCEA team, which includes the Infrastructure and Advanced Analytics, Reporting & Business Intelligence, and Wholesale Customer Experience Management (WCEM) Data Analytics teams.
Responsibilities :
- Work with digital / product / service / communication / project teams to understand business requirements and translate them into moderate-to-complex database-related analyses and execute them to completion.
- Generating and testing accurate data / mail files that drive customer and internal partner communication.
- Conduct in-depth exploratory analyses and research to provide actionable insights to the WCEA team and business partners, using Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, and Tableau.
- Interpreting research and analytic findings; explaining the strategic / tactical implications on business.
- Identify data sources and opportunities for additional infrastructure / automation.
- Adherence to all risk and compliance processes to create and maintain all report and data procedure documentation.
