Job Title: IT Security Analyst 4 (Hybrid)
Location: Richmond, VA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: 6 months of contractual
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to assess, analyze, and improve security controls, compliance, and vulnerability management. The role involves evaluating system security impacts, responding to incidents, performing security audits, and maintaining compliance with NIST 800-53 rev 5 and CJIS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess security risks of system changes and vulnerabilities.
- Perform application security testing and audits.
- Coordinate security vulnerability resolutions with teams.
- Investigate security incidents and recommend improvements.
- Maintain security documentation and compliance records.
Required Skills & Experience (5 years):
- NIST 800-53 rev 5 / CJIS security standards
- Vulnerability management & automated scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, Tenable)
- Web security testing (Burp Suite, Fortify, AppScan)
- Scripting & programming (Python, Java, PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript)
- Security certifications (CISM, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security ) preferred
