Focused less on legacy applications, and really being engaged on some of their leading work in trust technology.
The team would be feed transformation. Taking legacy book of trust business.
The structure is rigid but it does have some avenues for exceptions
A lot of the work is with Fees, and the controls of those Fees. But there is a lot of work to Automate them.
Automation of Discovery of Analytics Reports. Done in analytic reports. Pin point
Doing the technical build around the automation.
On the fee transformation side, its been a healthy blend of front end and back end.
Bit more back end from the automation standpoint.
Day-to-Day :
Day to day will consist of working within an agile of team that is 6-8 people in size
Usually they are a Java shop, but some of their legacy apps are written in Core .Net
The entire group has around 60 applications in WIM, focusing on trust services
Full staff is around 115 team members
Technical Skills Needed :
Heavy oracle and Oracle stored procedure. Which is unique from a tech standpoint, but it was carried over.
70 / 30 Backend / Front End work.
Database side is Oracle.
Angular is the front end, version 12ish, a couple versions behind
Spring Boot Facing an upgrade there, and they will on the latest soon.
Any Financial experience is good but large enterprise experience is required
Nice To Haves
Cloud experience (PCF) they can teach this but would be a plus.
Pushing for Data Center Migrations so would be helpful to have cloud experience
Soft skills and personality are very important. He has trouble with employees that arent self starters. They will have a ton of support, but need to also try and figure out things on their own.
