Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager & Scrum Master with a
strong background in Agile project management and database-related expertise.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution
of projects, ensuring alignment with Agile principles, managing sprints, and
coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. Your knowledge
of database management will be critical in ensuring effective collaboration
between developers, analysts, and stakeholders, particularly in projects with a
focus on data management and storage.
Responsibilities:
- Leadproject planning and execution, ensuring alignment with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Facilitatedaily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Collaboratewith database engineers and development teams to align project goals with data management needs.
- Ensurehigh-quality deliverables by monitoring project progress, resolving blockers, and managing risks.
- Maintainproject documentation, including timelines, resource allocation, and progress reports.
- Fosteropen communication across teams and facilitate conflict resolution as needed.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Solidunderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.
- Strongknowledge of database management principles (e.g., relational databases, SQL).
- Proventrack record of leading database-related projects or working closely with database teams.
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Experiencewith project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or equivalent
- Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previousexperience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Familiaritywith Allianz’s systems and tools or experience with similar industry standards.
- Certificationsuch as PMP, CSM, or SAFe Agilist.
- Hands-onexperience with data warehousing or ETL processes.
- Knowledgeof cloud-based database solutions like AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, or Google Cloud SQL.
- Familiaritywith database optimization and performance tuning.
