bout the Role :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated SQL DBA to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of our SQL Server database infrastructure. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, has experience automating tasks with PowerShell, and is familiar with infrastructure-as-code principles using Terraform.
Responsibilities :
Database Administration :
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases in on-premises and cloud environments (AWS experience is a plus).
- Implement and manage SQL Server Always On Availability Groups to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database systems for efficiency.
- Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery operations.
- Ensure data integrity and security.
- Proactively identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
- Stay current with the latest SQL Server features and best practices.
