Job Title: NextGen Project Manager
Location: 47 Trinity Ave SW, Atlanta, GA 30334 (Hybrid)
Start Date: May 12, 2025
Work Requirements:
- Hybrid role – must be local to Metro Atlanta
- Must be able to start within 10 business days of selection
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with DHS CFO, HR Director, and project teams to align ERP transition activities with the State’s project schedule
- Facilitate collaboration across DHS Finance, HR, and Procurement departments
- Communicate project activities and updates to agency stakeholders
- Lead internal stakeholder meetings and ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Monitor project status, report progress/issues to leadership
- Ensure stakeholders follow through with actions to meet project goals
- Work with Workday PMO and QA teams to ensure adherence to standards and quality objectives
- Provide tools, support, and training to team members for effective Workday transition
- Track project milestones and identify potential risks or delays
- Conduct testing reviews with business users to confirm satisfaction
- Maintain strong working relationships with sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience
✅ 5 years of IT project/program management (must include projects of high complexity in the last 2 years)
✅ PMP certification from PMI (must upload certification)
✅ Strong skills in MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Office Suite
✅ Experience managing ERP transitions (Workday required)
✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly Desired Skills:
⭐ Experience working within state government
⭐ Master’s degree in a related field
⭐ Direct experience with NextGen Workday implementation
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $57.00 per hour
