Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This role requires a strong understanding of production management, supply chain dynamics, and lean manufacturing principles. It also requires knowledge of the manufacturing of Dietary supplements, such as Encapsulating powders, Liquid Filling, and other types of jobs that require formulation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with supply chain management to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Formulating various dietary supplement products that customers require when needed.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to foster a high-performance culture.
- Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any production issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in production management or a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, including Lean manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with supply chain management practices and MRP systems.
- Proficient in using SAP or similar ERP software for production planning and tracking.
- Ability to fabricate and assemble products as needed, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in monitoring production performance metrics.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders.
