Hotel Housekeeper

RGB Hospitality – The Aloft Hotel is looking for a housekeeper to strengthen our team and be our Cleanliness Ambassador to heighten our guest's experience while on property. We’re looking for a friendly individual who genuinely enjoys creating a nice, clean environment for our guests to enjoy and who can engage guests and manage multiple tasks at once. The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping service experience and will understand the importance of responding quickly to guests’ needs and complaints. Come join our team!

Reports to:

Housekeeping Supervisor and General Manager (GM)

Hotel Housekeeper responsibilities:

· Perform excellent housekeeping services to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all guest rooms, public areas, and other areas assigned by the Housekeeping Manager and General Manager.

· Perform and execute daily cleaning tasks as assigned (rooms, bathrooms, corridor areas, and public areas) while working alongside our hotel staff to ensure guest needs and brand standards are met.

· Follow the schedule of tasks to be completed on a daily basis due to hotel needs set by Housekeeping Manager and GM.

· Perform proper housekeeping functions and techniques with quality, efficiency and safety in mind.

· Attend staff training sessions and meetings as needed.

· Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Hotel Housekeeper qualifications:

· Personal maturity, sound judgment, motivation, and integrity.

· Desire and willingness to work as a team within Housekeeping and other departments.

· Able to operate housekeeping equipment.

· Able to safely handle and use cleaning chemicals.

· Minimum of High School diploma preferred.

· Strong communication skills. Bilingual a plus.

· Able to lift up to 40 pounds.

· Available to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays
