Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility, ensuring that all laundry services are performed efficiently and effectively. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.
Duties
- Clean guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items as required, ensuring they are fresh and presentable.
- Perform dry cleaning services as needed, adhering to proper care instructions for various fabrics.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure all tasks have been completed satisfactorily.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain an organized supply closet and inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry materials.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of proper laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
