What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista - Morning Shift position at Aloft Indianapolis Downtown?
The Aloft Indianapolis Downtown (New Marriott property opening soon) is looking for an energetic and friendly individual to become part of our F&B team as a morning Barista at RE:Fuel located inside Indy's newest and trendiest hotel destination; boasting 128 guestrooms, a full-service bar and a small plate dining concept. Aloft is a hip Marriott lifestyle brand focused on style, personality and a lively hotel social scene to cater to the next gen traveler.
As a Re:Fuel Barista, you would be responsible for the following tasks:
- Ability to arrive to work by 5am to perform opening duties
- Deliver friendly and attentive guest service
- Prepare beverages ordered by guests in a timely manner
- Utilize turbochef to prepare food orders for guests in a timely manner
- Complete basic food and beverage prep for upcoming shifts
- Look over inventory and communicate orders with primary manager
- Set up and maintain cleanliness of Re:Fuel and kitchen
- Be knowledgeable and adhere to state and local health codes
- Restock guest facing side of bistro
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
