Job Summary:
Now’s your time to shine here with us at the Aloft Wilmington at Coastline Center Hotel here in downtown Wilmington, which includes aView Rooftop Bistro, The WXYZ lobby bar, and banquet operations.
Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. The ability to listen and take direction with a positive attitude is a must.
Essential Functions:
o Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using a dishwasher or by hand.
o Keep dishwasher clean and immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to the Kitchen Manager.
o Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
o Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
o Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
o Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
o Sweep or mop floors.
o Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Physical ability to lift up to 50-lbs.
