Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and a keen eye for detail, making it essential for the overall guest experience.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas within the facility.
• Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Manage housekeeping inventory and report any shortages or maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and industrial cleaning tasks.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the hospitality environment.
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and responding to their requests or concerns.

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality with an emphasis on customer service.
• Proficient in floor care techniques, including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
• Experience in housekeeping management is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform custodial duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping protocols can enhance your application.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
