Landscape Maintenance Foreman

The ideal candidate for this position will understand the day-to-day dynamics of landscape operations for new and existing landscape design, construction and maintenance for commercial and residential properties across Oahu Island, Hawaii.
Responsibilities:
Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding.- Drive a company vehicle with all needed maintenance equipment and personnel
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscaping personnel.
- Train and supervise new employees.
- Reviews the assigned work and develops schedules.
- Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Must be self-motivated and able to build strong relationships with clients and employees.
- Educate customers in regard to their lawn, irrigation, and pest control.
- Maintains discipline to include coaching and mentoring team members as needed to ensure that maintenance crews provide quality work standards for each client.
- Perform other various duties as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the mechanical principles of sprinkler equipment.
- Operate equipment, drive with trailer or other small equipment.
- Provide lead work direction to others.
- Great communications in both verbal and written.
- Valid driver's license required.
- One to two years of experience in the care and maintenance of landscaped grounds.
- One year in the maintenance, repair, or modification of irrigation systems and irrigation equipment
- You must be professional and friendly, paying attention to detail, and take pride in your work.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be able to complete physical labor at a steady pace, outdoors for up to 8 hours.
