Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Construction Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage schedules, and coordinate resources.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs.
- Develop project schedules using Primavera or similar tools to ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Collaborate with contractors on contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including reports on safety inspections and compliance checks.
- Train and mentor junior staff in construction management practices and safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction supervision or management is essential.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes within the construction industry.
- Experience with budgeting, project scheduling, and pipeline management is highly desirable.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Familiarity with contract management processes is a plus.
