Job Description:
As part of our office staff, your day to day work will revolve around customer service, supporting our instructors, and generally maintaining the office. This position also requires you to become a certified Drivers Education Instructor, as you will be proctoring written tests, and in order to do so, you must go through a 100 hour training program. 1. A strong work ethic. The office has many different tasks that all will need to be mastered in order to become successful, and once you've gone through all of your training, you will need to ensure these tasks are completed on a daily basis. Each of these tasks have their own challenges, so the ability to focus on them and complete them on your own in a timely manner will be essential once you've finished training.
2. Good customer service skills. Working in the office, you will be the main person that customers see in person, talk to over the phone, or correspond through texts or emails. The large majority of our customer's are wonderful and nice, but there may be rare occasions when you have to deal with more difficult customers. No matter who you're assisting or with what matter, it's important that you do your best to help them with what they need in a positive manner.
3. Reliability. Many other people, whether it be staff, students, or parents, will be depending on you to do your job correctly, whether it be with scheduling a drive correctly, showing up on time to open the office up, or filling out a test with the proper information. We need someone who is going to show up on time consistently, and be able to do things correctly consistently as well.
These are the main traits that will be essential for this job in the office, but also being a good communicator, team player, punctual, etc. are very valuable traits for this job as well.
The hours for this job will be basically same as our office hours. With our normal office hours, you'll be working 11:45 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tue-Fri and 8:45 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sat.
Responsibilities:

- Enrolling students in classes
- Proctoring written tests
- Scheduling students for drives
- Answering phone calls/texts/emails
- Entering data into physical and digital databases
- Printing/scanning documents
- Filing tests and other forms
- Filling out various forms
- Assisting customers
- Grading papers and tests
- Taking payment from customers and handling money
- Translating from English to Spanish or vise versa
Requirements:
You MUST be fluent in Spanish and English.
Ability to type 40 WPM.
A good understanding of computers, including Microsoft word, PDFs, ability to competently search for information online, etc.
