Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Control Specialist to join our team. The Traffic Specialist will be responsible for directing traffic through construction zones, ensuring the safety of workers and the public.
Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic safely through work zones using appropriate signaling devices
- Communicate effectively with construction workers and the public
- Follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times
- Set up and remove temporary work zone signs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, pedestrians, and coworkers
-Familiarity with the roads on Kauai is a plus.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with utility locating and construction site operations is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
