Job Summary:
The Laborer | Fumigation Technician is responsible for delivering safe and effective treatment methods, primarily utilizing Vikane Gas, to our clients' homes and businesses. The responsibilities encompass preparing the locations, by treating them with appropriate materials, ensuring safe reentry, and safely dismantling and cleaning all equipment before departure. Comprehensive training will be provided on the materials, techniques, and tasks involved, with the expectation that the technician will work towards obtaining the HDOA Commercial 7a Fumigation License. Technicians are also required to strictly adhere to all label and SDS instructions as well as OSHA, FDA, EPA, FIFRA, HDOA and Aloha Termite & Pest safety rules regulations and laws of the State of Hawaii and the United States as it pertains to the use and treatment of these materials.
Responsibilities:
Compensation: $20.00/hr /- depending on experience & license(s)
Daily Work Schedule: Mon-Fri and weekends as needed
8–12-hour shifts; Start times varying from 6am, with end times depending on when the job is completed

Responsibilities:
- Properly handle fumigation objects, such as tarps, sand snakes, water snakes, pins, bottles, cords, ropes, and other items required for the tasks assigned.
- Utilize a variety of tools and safety devices including ladders, ropes, fans, extension cords, power tools, tubes, shovels, brooms and SCBA gear
- Commitment to provide customers' homes, businesses and properties with respect at all times
- Maintain professionalism in words, deed, action, appearance, and manner
- Communicate effectively, be a good listener, and work as a productive team member
- Recognize and prioritize safety as a personal responsibility, using provided Personal Protective Equipment
- Ability to read and fully understand product labels and SDS sheets.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, ensuring proper organization of tools and materials, following traffic laws and all HDOA related regulations.
- Engage in physically demanding outdoor tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, crawling, bending, twisting, climbing ladders while carrying up to 200 lbs and working in all weather conditions.
- Wear proper PPE and safety gear, including Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) gear when needed.
- Ability to work on roofs, wearing fall protection, restraints, arrest safety devices, harnesses and tie offs as required by law
